Order of Importance : 1) Haste Ring (finger), 2) Fire artifact relic, 3) Plate belt (waist), 4) trinket, 5) whatever else

* Haste ring then Fire relic are the best, in that order.

Outlaw is my mainspec, it's good cleave, and good Single target. Sub is my offspec, and should do more single target DPS now after the hot fixes, and better AoE after ilvl 870.

 

Blood is okay for Sub.

Ring is meh.

Have the trinket, it's amazing. 

Gloves and shoulders are okay for both.

Gore-drenched fetish (thats a good name) Big item level upgrade one of the better traits on it 1% more to all shadow damage. 

 

wriggling sinew - Crit is good  effect is good - not bis but an upgrade.

This is our second progression fight. Full strat will be discussed at raid. Will post it after raid tonight after adjustments made

Nightmare gaze- done by big eye blocking door, will randomly target player to attempt to do his version of chain lightning. Try to stay loosely spread.

Tank Adds

Nightmare horror- Does Jesus eye beam causing increased 50% damage taken debuff from anyone hit by Eye beam. (figure out how were going to place this so only tanks are hit) Taunt switch at 2 stacks with externals for 2nd stack

small kiting as well as he does spawn pools on the ground

Dominator tentacle- immobile, must be stood next to by tanks to not allow them to do large AOE, will do nightmarish fury attack hitting every .8secx6 seconds with large damage component (active mitigation) 

Ground Slam- targets player. This player will need to likely run a specific direction to allow it to only slam that one individual vs. the entire group (Maybe towards the Eye wall)

 

Non Tank adds

corruptor tentacle- spew corruption- targets random player to spawn puddles in encounter area, every 2 sec for 10 sec. (This will need to be gotten out of zone with)

Death glare tentacle- long channel mind flay that does need to be interrupted

 

The fight outside-

All adds that die, will spawn little globs that fixate a random player. As such these will need to be dps'd down, to then explode by the eye, to then access the tree. They do however, apply a debuff upon their melee hit to any player that is dispellable. Need 20 of these to down the eye. Any adds outside, do need to be killed b4 going into boss area.

 

The fight inside-

Cursed Blood- 8 sec debuff that will explode for 1mil damage to anyone else within 11 yard circle, so I.E. Spread the hell out when you get the debuff. However, stack in hit box otherwise.

Dark reconstitution- boss has long channel cast that if you are still in the room when it goes off, you instantly die.

Talent specs- Beantot- Go AOE, other classes, prolly better suited to hedge AOE with a good ability to have a ST burn if possible.

Thank you all for a solid week 6/7 Heroic is a nice position to be. Was aiming for 7/7 Heroic, with a minimum expectation of 5/7 Heroic.

 

Raid strategy guides will be updated over the weekend. Please take the time to review the comprehensive guides once posted as I will have spent a lot of my personal time working on these strategies.

 

Raider requirements and exepectations are also to be readdressed moving in to mythic progression.
